Summer breezes stir up the enjoy time

As the month of June turns the final pages of its story amidst soaring temperatures and the local residents’ desire for leisure summer activities kicked off in Sancti Spíritus with a parade of young athletes around Serafín Sánchez Park and artistic performances.

It was the perfect moment to launch the Sancti Spíritus School Sports Festival, given that the School Games could not be held during this summer season.
Yet idleness is not an option; thus, the porticoes of the Municipal House of Culture also exuded the essence of art with a performance by the local children’s project, La Colmenita.
