Nuestra Señora de la Caridad Parish : Three Centuries Among the People of Sancti Spíritus
Nuestra Señora de la Caridad Parish is already setting its course toward its 300th anniversary, which will be marked on September 7, 2027.
Recognized as the second most important religious site in the fourth town founded in Cuba by the *Adelantado* Diego Velázquez, its greatest heritage lies in the fact that—following the Church of El Cobre in Santiago de Cuba—it was the second church in the nation built under the patronage of the *Virgen Mambisa*, the Virgin of Charity.
