Secure safeguard of history

Specialists participating in the First Provincial Workshop on Document Management and Archiving—”Legacy, Memory, and Future”—in Sancti Spíritus called for leveraging every possible avenue to ensure the recovery and safeguarding of all documentation—whether written, audio, or visual—that holds value for enriching the nation’s history and heritage.

This recommendation was reiterated during discussions on the research presented at the event, which was sponsored by the local delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and the Environment (CITMA), the Provincial Historical Archive (AHP), and the Office of the Conservator of the city of Sancti Spíritus (OCCSS).
