Cuba does not surrender! Cuba persists and resists!

“Cuba does not surrender! Cuba persists and resists! And that persistence is intolerable to the empire!” declared Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, this Friday at the commemoration of the 95th birthday of Army General Raúl Castro Ruz and the 65th anniversary of the creation of the Ministry of the Interior.

In the presence of the Leader of the Cuban Revolution, Díaz-Canel affirmed at the event held in Havana’s Karl Marx Theater that “what we celebrate is not a mere coincidence of dates on the revolutionary calendar. It is also the close link between a legacy and a leader.”
