Medical donations benefit main hospitals in Sancti Spíritus

A donation sent by graduates of the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) has been benefiting the Camilo Cienfuegos General Hospital and the Sancti Spíritus Provincial Pediatric Hospital since Thursday, providing antibiotics, analgesics, and an ultrasound Doppler machine for the Neonatology service.

According to Yaneisy Valdez Gutiérrez, acting director of the province’s largest healthcare facility, the aid also included two oxygen concentrators donated by UNICEF to strengthen the monitoring of conditions in newborns.
