May Day Parade in Sancti Spíritus
After carrying out actions that resonated even in the most remote corners of Sancti Spíritus province, despite imperialist harassment, workers from this Cuban provincial union took to the streets and plazas of the city of Sancti Spíritus and the other municipal capitals during the May Day celebrations of International Workers’ Day.
From early Friday morning, the participants, including students, farmers, housewives, and retirees, gathered at their designated meeting points to begin the marches at 7:00 a.m. These marches became a demonstration for peace, against the U.S. blockade, and in rejection of the blatant imperialist threats against our country.
