Installation of solar panels completes in vital centers of the province
The installation of 115 photovoltaic modules at vital centers in the province of Sancti Spíritus was completed this Friday, after nearly 40 days of continuous work in a high-priority operation that strengthens the territory’s energy infrastructure and marks a decisive step toward energy sovereignty.
According to Reinier Hernández García, director of investments for the Sancti Spíritus Electric Company, the project aligns with the National Energy Diversification Strategy and reinforces the security of the electrical system in the province, directly benefiting the population and strategic sectors. These include 26 polyclinics, 8 nursing homes, 15 funeral homes, 8 branches of the National Bank of Electricity (BANDEC), 8 branches of the Provincial Bank of Sancti Spíritus (BPA), 27 electrical substations, a senior citizens’ center, a special school for the visually impaired, and 7 radio stations.
It has truly changed life everywhere.
The investment director of the Sancti Spiritus Electric Company also mentioned the satisfaction of the people who benefited from these modules, who acknowledged the impact of the installed technology and the improvement in their living conditions.
