Public Transportation Development Fund provides new resources to Sancti Spíritus

Sancti Spíritus received new electric vehicles, acquired through financing from the Public Transportation Development Fund of the Ministry of Transportation in Cuba, with the aim of expanding coverage and modernizing service for the population.

According to José Lorenzo García, Provincial Transportation Delegate, two electric vans and an internal combustion hearse arrived in the province, in addition to the electric minibus that will transport healthcare personnel.

The legalization and commissioning procedures for these vehicles are currently underway, a necessary step for them to be integrated into various activities and respond more efficiently to the needs of the population.

Once the legal processes are complete, the four electric vehicles will be available to support diverse activities, always with the goal of providing a more efficient and accessible service to the community.
