Cuba reports actions to confront the escalation of US aggression against the island

Deputy Prime Minister Oscar Pérez-Oliva Fraga, along with the Ministers of Labor, Transportation, Higher Education, and Education, appeared on the Round Table program this Friday to report on the actions the country has taken to confront the intensification of U.S. aggression against Cuba.

Decisions to Guarantee the Vitality of Essential Services

At the start of his remarks on the Round Table program, Deputy Prime Minister Oscar Pérez-Oliva Fraga recalled the escalation by the United States government against Cuba to intensify the economic, commercial, and financial blockade, with a greater emphasis on pressure to restrict fuel supplies to the island.

“This coercive policy has been characterized by financial persecution and secondary sanctions against ships and companies that attempt to deliver fuel to our country—ships that are legally chartered by Cuba, exercising its right like any other state in the world.”
