The mortal remains of the 32 combatants killed in Venezuela arrive in Cuba
At dawn this Thursday, the aircraft carrying the remains of the 32 Cubans who died in Venezuela on January 3rd, in the line of duty, arrived.
On the tarmac of José Martí International Airport, silence marked the first posthumous tribute to the 32 Cubans killed during the attack perpetrated by the United States against Venezuela.
Led by Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, Leader of the Front of the Cuban Revolution, and by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, the First Tribute to the Fallen Heroes was held at José Martí Airport. Cuba honored and received the remains of the 32 combatants killed by the U.S. in the aggression against Venezuela.
The military ceremony was brief and solemn. The formation, the composed faces, and that moment when the country recognized those who returned forever, draped in their flag, were all that was needed.
