Yaguajay commemorated the 68th anniversary of the creation of the Las Villas Northern Front

Floral offerings on behalf of the people of Cuba were laid today at the Camilo Cienfuegos National Monument and the Eternal Flame of the Mausoleum to the Martyrs of the Las Villas Northern Front during a political-cultural event held in Yaguajay, marking the 68th anniversary of the guerrilla force’s formation.

The ceremony was presided over by Deivy Pérez Martín—a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and First Secretary in Sancti Spíritus province—and Provincial Vice-Governor Frank Osbel Cañizares, and was attended by a delegation representing the people of Yaguajay.
