What prospects does the economy of Sancti Spíritus offer today?

During 2025, the economy of Sancti Spíritus left its mark, a mix of successes and setbacks that statistics measure on one hand, management structures evaluate on the other, and ordinary citizens experience, applaud, or question, according to their own perspectives.

Last year was fraught with limitations that hampered and undermined the economy’s performance: a deficit in electricity generation, a scarcity of resources of all kinds, a lack of physical fuels, financial difficulties, among many other obstacles.

In this context, according to the assessments of the province’s Directorate of Economy and Planning, the main economic indicators for 2025 showed positive results.
