Tourism recovers in Sancti Spíritus
With 73% occupancy in the facilities, the tourism sector, the province of Sancti Spíritus shows signs of gradual recovery at the end of this period of the year powered by the recently inaugurated 5-star Meliá Trinidad Peninsula complex as one of the main destinations in the country.
According to Yordany Fernandez Alonso, delegate of the Ministry of Tourism in the territory, the main visitor markets are concentrated in Canada, Germany, Italy and Spain, in addition to national tourism with a large influx of vacationers.
According to Fernández Alonso, several investments are planned to be completed in celebration of the 510th anniversary of the town of the Holy Spirit scheduled for next June 4.
