Manaca Iznaga Tower Recovery

The site’s ancient bell tower, an architectural and heritage gem of the Valle de los Ingenios (Sugar Mills Valley), a World Heritage Site, which delights visitors to the site, is undergoing construction work to improve the wooden structures of the floor and stairs, which, due to their deteriorated state, led to the building’s closure to the public.

And with that, for about four months now, all attempts to climb to each level of the tower have been prohibited. This is an exceptional place to contemplate, from above, everything surrounding the Manaca Iznaga stage, one of the temptations for those who visit the site.
