The transfer of students from Sancti Spíritus to residential centers begins this weekend

The transportation of students to boarding schools begins this weekend in the province of Sancti Spíritus with the use of a fleet of 34 buses that will complete the enrollment of scholarship recipients in the various educational settings.

According to Oraldo González Pérez, director of the Sancti Spíritus School Transportation Unit (UEB), the organization will ensure the movement of students and teachers, and the schedule for their entry to schools is planned, beginning this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the municipal boarding schools.

He also reported that this Sunday at 6:00 a.m., students from the pedagogical schools, the Eusebio Olivera Rodríguez Vocational Pre-University Institute of Exact Sciences, and the Camilitos will be transported, and on Monday, September 1, at 8:00 a.m., children from special schools will be picked up.

As part of the student transportation program, which begins this Saturday in Sancti Spíritus, poor roads that impede access to isolated communities are being identified, and school bus maintenance work is being carried out.
