The new school year opens in Sancti Spíritus

The Eusebio Olivera Rodríguez Vocational Institute of Exact Sciences (IPVCE) in Sancti Spíritus hosted the province’s main event this Monday to mark the start of the 2025-2026 school year, a period dedicated to the centennial of the birth of Fidel Castro, the historic leader of the Revolution.

At the celebration, which was attended by Party Central Committee member and First Secretary of the province, Deivy Pérez Martín, and the governor of the territory, Alexis Lorente Jiménez, awards were presented to the students who won medals in the Central American and Caribbean Chemistry Olympiads, as well as to the participants in the International Technology, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence Olympiad, and to the members of the Amada Project and their tutors.
