The heritage event of Manaca Iznaga
The restoration of the old slave infirmary in Manaca Iznaga, a heritage building of singular importance, has become one of the most significant projects in the investment portfolio of the Trinidad City Historian’s Office.
The aim is to rescue the original structure and transform it into a multipurpose center, prioritizing culture, educational activities, and community engagement.
As a first, this is the Office’s first energy-sustainable project, featuring a solar panel array that is already generating power and will supply energy during construction and later for the building’s operation.
