What is the current operational framework of the Provincial Delegation for Territorial Planning and Urban Development in Sancti Spíritus?
The fundamental objective of our system is to contribute to the implementation of State policies regarding territorial and urban planning.
Our mission encompasses the spatial planning of investment projects undertaken by both individuals and legal entities. We also oversee the control, use, and management of state-owned land designated for investments, agricultural activities, or other authorized purposes.
Furthermore, our responsibilities include monitoring and updating the cadastral status of the entire province, as well as ensuring compliance with regulations governing territorial planning, urban development, and land management.
The goal is neither to prohibit nor to crack down. Rather, it is about bringing order to the process and educating people so they understand that initiatives can move forward, provided they are carried out in accordance with established legal requirements.
