Summer in Sancti Spíritus

Summer activities officially begin in Sancti Spiritus on July 4, 5, and 6.

A political and cultural evening will be held at his birthplace to commemorate the 179th anniversary of Serafín Sánchez’s birth. This solemn tribute will be paid to the Major General.

Another cultural incentive this summer will be the 30th Theater Crusade along the Che Route, from July 2 to August 31.

On July 5, kick-off summer activities with children’s projects will also be held in all municipalities.

Also featuring children, children’s project tours will be held in the municipalities (Yayaberitos, La Colmenita, Haciendo Futuro, and Andarte).

Likewise, during a summer marked by community activities, the 50th Anniversary Cultural Guerrilla of the José Martí Brigade will be activated.

On July 13th, the Provincial Meeting of Dance Couples and Ruedas de Casino will feature performances by dance couples and ruedas de casino from the municipal Cultural Centers.
