Study of the Family Care System in Sancti Spíritus identifies limitations
The Provincial Directorate of Commerce in Sancti Spíritus, through its consumer protection unit, conducted a study on the Family Assistance System (SAF) to assess the quality and efficiency of the service in the province, according to Katerine Victoria Valdés Zulueta, a consumer protection specialist at the agency.
The process included surveys at establishments considered to have best practices and at other centers within the system. This allowed for the evaluation of aspects such as the variety of products offered, food quality, hygiene, wait times, and the treatment and performance of staff.
The results reflect favorable opinions regarding customer service and employee performance, as recognized by the population served. However, some dissatisfaction was identified, primarily related to the limited product selection and prices, Valdés Zulueta added.
There were also reports of disruptions in care, associated with the lack of supplies, the fuel supply for food preparation and the current energy context, factors that affect the level of services and the frequency of offerings.
