Social programs in Sancti Spíritus strengthen support for vulnerable individuals

The budget in Sancti Spíritus includes targeted support for social programs. Social assistance has been allocated 155 million pesos to support vulnerable individuals.

To date, this program benefits more than 4,500 households, comprising over 7,000 people across the province.

This coverage aims to protect those with the greatest needs. Another priority program focuses on the revitalization of neighborhoods and communities; more than 107 million pesos have been allocated to this initiative.

Funding is also secured for the *Plan Turquino*, which focuses on mountainous areas. Municipalities such as Yaguajay, Fomento, Trinidad, and Sancti Spíritus participate in this program.

Taken together, these actions demonstrate a commitment to maintaining active social policies geared toward equity and inclusion.
