Sancti Spíritus Special Workshops Experience will be present at the Blind People Congress

For the work they do to promote social and labor inclusion, representatives from special workshops in the province of Sancti Spíritus will attend the IX National Assembly of the Cuban Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, which will take place from October 7 to 9. Yuniel Quesada Cartaya, head of the workshops on Sancti Spíritus properties, comments:

“It’s an exceptional opportunity to show the country that it’s possible to work amidst such complex situations as long as you put your heart into the task. Even though the situation of special workshops at the national level isn’t even close to what Sancti Spíritus exhibits today, we are going to challenge all our colleagues nationwide to rescue the work, so to speak, that Sancti Spíritus is producing,” he comments.

Quesada Cartaya highlighted the reasons for attending the event by pointing out that they are entering this congress with their proposed production and sales plans for 2025 above 85% in both cases. He also stated that by the end of October, the actual production plan exceeded 19.4 million pesos and sales exceeded 28.2 million, across 21 production lines.
