Sancti Spíritus media at National Virtual Press Festival

Two press media projects from the province of Sancti Spiritus opened on Tuesday the V Julio García Luis National Virtual Press Festival, which links the Cuban capital with all the provinces of the country until February 13.

After the opening of the event and the presentation of the initial conferences, the radio station Radio Sancti Spiritus started the Festival program with its project “Artificial Intelligence in the editorial convergence of Radio Sancti Spiritus”, which was followed by the project “It’s my neighborhood”, of the Escambray newspaper.

In the case of the radio, it is a proposal that illustrates the use of artificial intelligence, especially the creation of the avatar Rosalba, the first virtual presenter of the Cuban radio, in the generation of contents of the station as a multiplatform and that conceives the publication of different materials in all types of format: textual, radio and audiovisual both in the antenna, the website and social networks.

On the other hand, Escambray, traditional winner in these contests, with the multimedia project “Es mi barrio” (It’s my neighborhood), focuses on the daily life of neighborhoods and communities of Espiritu from an integral vision of their events and from the proximity to life stories and social problems.
