Sancti Spíritus Journalists celebrate with Awards at 26th July Venue

Journalists from Radio Sancti Spíritus and the Escambray newspaper were awarded prizes in the 26th of July contest, organized every year by the Union of Cuban Journalists, in honor of the National Rebellion Day.

In radio, Lisandra Gómez Guerra and Yeris del Sauzal Francisco, from Radio Sancti Spíritus won prizes with the information “Avatar Rosalba”, while Yosdany Morejón obtained a mention with “Minint en Sancti Spíritus esclarece asalto a un italiano en el entronque de Siguaney” (Minint in Sancti Spíritus clears up an assault on an Italian at the Siguaney junction).

In the written press Enrique Ojito Linares and Yosdany Morejón Ortega won a mention for their work “Yogur de Soya, plato fuerte de una malversación” and a mention in the chronicle for Enrique Ojito Linares.

The jury of the 26th of July journalistic contest in the radio category recognized Sancti Spíritus for the quantity and quality of the works sent.
