Sancti Spíritus art school will welcome around 250 students

More than 250 Sancti Spíritus residents are enrolled in the Art Education program, which will return to the classroom this September 1st at various educational institutions across the country.

Although the largest number are enrolled at the Ernesto Lecuona Art School in Sancti Spíritus, the only center in the province with that purpose, around 80 are enrolled in other areas, according to Félix Ramón Delgado Barrizonte, the top leader of art education there.

“We have students in the provinces of Villa Clara, Camagüey, Matanzas, and Havana, and at the Higher Institute of Art itself, with representation in all its forms. At the secondary level, we have students in music, theater, dance, visual arts, and circus. At the ISA, there are students in acting, conservation art, music, and dance. In other words, we enjoy a variety of specialized training within the art education system when it comes to other courses.”
