Sancti Spiritus art gallery becomes a school this summer

The Oscar Fernández Morera Art Gallery in Santi Spiritus becomes a school every summer.

Different generations come together among colors and media to create under the guidance of professor and visual artist Ángel Luis Alfaro.

“The workshops being taught are for children ages 7 to 10.

At that age, creative exercises are given so that the child is able to create compositions with geometric figures.

These figures are colored, taking into account primary, secondary, and tertiary colors, and color analogies, so that the child has a foundation for when they move on to what would become adolescents, which is a preparatory course for art schools.”
