Radio Sancti Spiritus presents the miniseries “Icónicos 80” for its eight decades on the air

As part of its 80th anniversary celebrations, the Provincial Radio Station Radio Sancti Spíritus presented the audiovisual miniseries “Icónicos 80,” a series of short videos in reel format that pays tribute to the living history of radio in the province.

The project, directed by Dileán Sousa Acosta and María Sosa Echemendía, aims to humanize and highlight those who sustain this means of communication every day. Each capsule presents, in less than a minute, intimate fragments of the station: its most beloved voices, traditional spaces, and everyday scenes that connect past and present. Designed for broadcast on social media and digital platforms, the series seeks to reach its audiences without losing the essence of Sancti Spíritus radio.

“Icónicos 80” began publishing in July of this year on Radio Sancti Spíritus’ official profiles and is part of the commemorative activities for the station’s anniversary, within the context of a digital strategy to celebrate its legacy, strengthen its connection with its audience, and its role as a leading radio station in central Cuba.
