New ice plant improves efficiency in Sancti Spíritus meat industry

With the installation of an ice plant, the Sancti Spíritus Meat Company is taking a significant step toward improving the efficiency of its production.

Its commissioning began last week at the Roberto Quesada Packing Plant, located in the industrial zone of the provincial capital.

Engineer Onel Eduardo López Gómez, the company’s technical director, explained how the need for this investment arose. The plant’s capacity is substantial for the internal needs of the Sancti Spíritus meat industry, and the ice produced is destined for the company’s production units.

The investment was made using the company’s own funds, and the commissioning was carried out by specialists to ensure its smooth operation.
