Melanio Hernandez continues in Harvest

In the midst of hard conditions with the material resources, the sugar harvest continues in the province, when the Melanio Hernández sugar mill has manufactured about 75% of its sugar production program for this stage.

Since last May, the productive contribution led to a readjustment of the work shifts in this factory with the strategy of milling only when raw material was accumulated for a greater number of hours. In addition to the material, the arrival in the last few days of rainfall has made it difficult for the cane cutting and pulling equipment to work at its best.
