Martí and his legacy in sports

José Martí lives more and more every day in the memory of the “grateful” of this Earth. Every January 28 is for all of us a date marked by Cubanness, an intrinsic part of our raison d’être that permeates our lives: the human dimension of an incomparable man, a paradigm of values in today’s sports: José Martí Pérez.

In one way or another, we have all grown up admiring the Master’s works, because our mothers and fathers taught us to know part of Martí’s literary arsenal.
