Jatibonico’s new solar park is contributing to the National Electric System

Four of the seven inverters at the El Meso Solar Park, located in the municipality of Jatibonico in Sancti Spíritus province, are now synchronized with the National Electric System and are providing stable power. This addition represents a significant step in the utilization of renewable energy sources.

According to Roberto Hernández Rojas, general director of the electric company in Sancti Spíritus, this is the third such facility built in the province, demonstrating the sustained progress of the National Energy Diversification Strategy.

“The first four inverters were synchronized at minimum power yesterday, and so far, all four of the seven inverters in the park are generating stable power.”
