ISLAZUL to promote nature tourism in 2025

The recovery of the Zaza Hotel in a second investment stage, as well as boosting nature tourism in that territory, are priorities for the Isla Azul Sancti Spíritus hotel branch, according to the president of the Isla Azul hotel group in Cuba, Yadiel Frías Mesa.

“To continue exploiting it, to increase efficiency levels, to increase management levels, both in the Zaza and in the other facilities. One of the fundamental objectives is to work with quality, to continue working with quality in services, the provision of services, lodging services and all the services that complement the whole issue of the activity, such as technical services, safety and security.”

“We do not have a marked price increase, much less at the country or territory level. The prices at which we are taking the products have been quite expensive. We have a very strong commitment with the population, which is our main market, the domestic market and the socialist state enterprises. Regarding nature tourism and Villa San José del Lago as its main exponent, what are the projections?

“In Villa San José del Lago, we are trying to prioritize the issue of rooms and some complementary extra-hotel services that we want to provide. There we are now going to repair the ranchón and the swimming pool”.

“All of that is now going to be renovated in this year 2025.And we are working with the recovery of the rooms. We are planning to recover around 40 rooms. It is managed, the ideas are already organized, the plans are well implemented and now what is missing is the execution, which is what we must be in 2025 to finish recovering already and start up Villa San José del Lago, which the most critical thing it has is the issue of the rooms and that is what we are going to work on this year.”
