Ice cream parlor in Sancti Spíritus restarts its services through new concepts
The Ice cream parlor in Sancti Spíritus has reopened with a new look and new offerings through projects aimed at transforming its surrounding area.
Under a cooperative agreement, the iconic center is being transformed into a renovated space with improved offerings, according to Jorge Castro Martínez, Director of the Mar y Cielo restaurant complex.
“Currently, Coppelia operates under a cooperative agreement, meaning it’s a partnership between the state-owned entity, Mar y Cielo, and a micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSME). Service began this Wednesday, and the plan is to operate from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.”
Coppelia has full energy backup thanks to solar panels, ensuring that its main offerings remain in optimal condition as long as daylight allows. “There’s now full energy backup here, for both refrigeration and lighting.”
This alternative energy source will also benefit the El Recreo complex, which will be able to improve its offerings, as well as the dining hall of the Family Assistance System.
