Trinidad de Cuba or La Santisima Trinidad has a different microclimate to the rest of the island with temperatures ranging between 16° and 25°C with moderate subtropical weather. It has indescribable natural beauties like Topes de Collantes a Protected Natural Park which has the reputation as a center of rest and recovery of respiratory diseases.

It also received the title of Creative City, in Crafts and Popular Arts, in October 2019 by Unesco, while the title of Artisan City of the World was received in 2018.
