Farmers donate solar kit to children’s home in Cabaiguán

In a gesture that honors José Martí’s maxim that “where there are many men without honor, there are always others who possess the honor of many,” nine tobacco farmers from the municipality of Cabaiguán joined together to donate a 6 kW solar kit, with its corresponding energy storage backup, to a home for children and young adults without parental care in the area.

The donation directly benefits seven children residing at the institution, as well as the staff responsible for their care, who now have a stable and continuous electricity supply. The center’s director, Leticia Rodríguez Cabrera, expressed her deep gratitude for this act of solidarity.
