Engaged in experimental studies at the Sur del Jíbaro Grain Station

Experimental studies on crop varieties conducted by the Sur del Jíbaro Territorial Grain Research Station in La Sierpe are validated through fieldwork involving specialists and selected producers, aiming to reach a consensus on the most feasible and efficient technologies for specific zones and soil types.

Extension work plays a decisive role in this regard, targeting various zones and areas across the municipality—as well as other regions with proven experience and results in grain variety production.

Alongside this, training is another essential task of the Sur del Jíbaro Territorial Grain Research Station in La Sierpe.
