Díaz-Canel highlights Special Significance of his visit to Russia

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel stressed on Friday the special significance of his recent visit to Russia, on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the reestablishment of relations between his country and that Eurasian nation.

Speaking on the Youtube program Desde la presidencia, while returning from his working trip, he stressed that the Cuban delegation arrived in Moscow at the time of the inauguration of President Vladimir Putin.

In addition to participating in person for the first time in the Supreme Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and in the commemorations for the Day of Victory over Fascism.

He stressed that the visit also allowed for an important meeting with President Putin and a group of leaders to discuss global and Russian current affairs, as well as bilateral relations and Cuba’s current problems.
