Cuba can count on the courage and sensitivity of Sancti Spíritus (+ photos)
“Sancti Spíritus reaffirms once again that Cuba can count on the courage, but also the compassion, of the people of this central province,” declared Deivy Pérez Martín, member of the Central Committee of the Party and its first secretary in the territory, this Friday, as she invited the inhabitants of this part of the country “to pay tribute, in an organized and solemn manner, to the 32 combatants who fell in an unequal confrontation with the U.S. forces that, just a few days ago, shattered the peace of Venezuela and, with it, that of all of Latin America.”
The party leader spoke at the massive event held in the Plaza de la Revolución Mayor General Serafín Sánchez Valdivia as part of the actions carried out throughout the country to honor those who gave their lives in the line of duty in the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
