Como lo Oyes, a radio program 41 years later

Radio Sancti Spiritus celebrates its birthday this July 1st. Forty-one years ago, it experienced one of its most remarkable births, a birth without pain, as Como lo oyes (As You Hear It) became one of the most successful programs in its lineup.

In its early days, it was a unique space for social interaction, and from then on, it connected with audiences from all corners of the region who found in it a sense of closeness, identification, and companionship.

Later, merging with another program, it evolved into the information giant it is today, becoming the essential offering of Sancti Spiritus’ mornings.

In four decades and one year, it has forged its own unique history, distinguished by its focus on the events closest to the people—those people who tune in to it when they need the news to satisfy their thirst for information.
