Border Guards of the Port Captaincy of Casilda recognized for exemplary conduct

The exemplary conduct of officers and civilian employees of the Casilda Port Authority was recognized at the ceremony commemorating the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of the Border Guard Troops, the tireless army of the Ministry of the Interior, sentinels of national sovereignty.

It was Sub-Officer Roelkis Sánchez Ordoñez who, in his address, emphasized their commitment as guardians of Cuba’s borders and coasts in combating piracy, enemy infiltration, and drug smuggling.
