Agricultural companies in Sancti Spíritus are urged to increase charcoal production

Access to charcoal remains a problem in Sancti Spíritus. In response, and following instructions from the provincial governor, Dr. Alexis Lorente Jiménez, agricultural enterprises have been directed to take on its production in order to increase supply and keep prices down.

We discussed this issue with José Martínez Hernández, Coordinator of Programs and Objectives for the provincial government responsible for agriculture.
