Power returns to Sancti Spíritus: priority given to those who have been without service the longest
All electrical circuits in Sancti Spíritus are expected to have power restored between Tuesday night and the early hours of Wednesday. This gradual process is proceeding in two- to three-hour intervals following the restoration of the National Electric System (SEN), according to Reinaldo Montero Méndez, Head of Dispatch for the Provincial Electric Company.
The specialist explained that the re-energization process began with the circuits that had been without power the longest and is continuing in a staggered manner—contingent upon the continued stability of the SEN—with the aim of gradually restoring the electricity supply across virtually the entire territory.
