Childcare centers remain active during the summer in Sancti Spíritus

At this time of year, while many are enjoying the holiday season, other education sector workers are redoubling their efforts to keep vital services running at key institutions—such as early childhood centers.

In Sancti Spíritus, there are 20 such facilities continuing to provide care for the children of families who remain at work.

Yuranis Lorenzo Villalobos, Head of Early Childhood Education at the General Directorate of Education, noted: “We recognize the heavy workload involved; that is why we are implementing measures such as salary incentives and staff reorganization—all aimed at optimizing existing human resources.”
