The pain cannot be measured in numbers after the earthquakes in Venezuela

Venezuela is broken. After the double earthquake of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, which struck on June 24, the pain defies quantification, leaving only the images of the aftermath: those who survived the cataclysm sleeping under the open sky in streets and plazas, under tents and in makeshift hospitals, where the wounded arrive, filled with horrors that will never leave their memories.

Only someone who experiences such a tremor and then wakes up next to someone who has managed to save their nearly shattered legs and even wipe away tears for the family they lost, can truly grasp the magnitude of the greatness shown by the members of the Henry Reeve International Contingent of Doctors specializing in disaster relief and serious epidemics, who arrived in Venezuela from Cuba on the night of Monday, June 29.
