Young people from Sancti Spíritus will represent Cuba at the International Chemistry Olympiad in Uzbekistan

Young students from Sancti Spíritus, Ernesto Alejandro Barrera Ramírez and Leticia María Merlo Alfonso, have once again been selected to represent Cuba at the International Chemistry Olympiad, which will take place from July 10 to 19 in Uzbekistan.

The students are currently undergoing intensive training at the University of Havana under the guidance of their coaches, Doctors of Science Gerardo Ojeda Corralero and José Rafael Rodríguez Rodríguez.

This event brings together the brightest academic talents from pre-university schools in 95 countries each year.
