Continuity of studies is guaranteed for ninth grade students in Sancti Spíritus

One hundred percent of ninth grade students in Sancti Spiritus will be guaranteed continued enrollment in the next school year, in accordance with current enrollment requirements.

According to the report presented to the last Provincial Government Council, approximately 4,350 students are expected to graduate this academic year.

Around 45% of them will transition to pre-university education, while the remainder will begin technical and vocational training.

However, only about 890 of these students have been enrolled so far, indicating deficiencies in the enrollment process. This weakness urgently needs to be assessed in each region and addressed promptly.

Regarding pre-university education, where enrollment figures have remained consistent with previous years, efforts are ongoing to increase capacity at schools in order to expand enrollment compared to the current year.
