Juan Emilio Hernández: a man of Science

More than four decades dedicated to teaching and research attest to the achievements of Dr. Juan Emilio Hernández García, a renowned professor at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the José Martí Pérez University of Sancti Spíritus, who received the Carlos J. Finlay Order during the celebration of Cuban Science Day.

This award is given to scientists and institutions for extraordinary merit and valuable contributions to the development of the natural or social sciences for the benefit of humanity.

At the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Sancti Spíritus University, we spoke with the esteemed professor, who holds, among other accolades, the José Tey Medal for Cuban Education, the National and Provincial CITMA Awards, as well as awards from the Minister and the Rector.
