Sancti Spíritus strengthens control measures in response to increase in arboviruses

The province of Sancti Spíritus is reinforcing its health prevention and control measures with an intensive fumigation campaign in its municipalities in response to an epidemiological situation marked by an increase in vector-borne diseases, especially dengue and chikungunya.

According to Yurién Negrín Calvo, deputy director of the Provincial Hygiene Center, these actions are part of the Health System’s commitment to protecting the population and containing the spread of arboviruses in the province.
