Sancti Spíritus prepares for the new school year

There are few days to start the 2025-2026 school year , the non-teaching staff at various educational institutions have continued to work throughout July and August, in those schools undergoing construction improvements or school reorganization.

This is evident at the Rafael María de Mendive Pedagogical School in the city of Yayabo, where several actions have been taken, according to Deputy Administrative Director Ariel Portal Iglesias. “Of the 20 classrooms available at the school, we already have 18 ready.”

The director specified that the school has all the study materials for the start of the school year, as well as some supplies (towels, sheets, uniforms for boarding students).

Starting September 1, the school will accept enrollment in all specialties beginning in the first year of the 2025 school year as part of the gradual reunification of the province’s training centers.
