Final details for the launch of photovoltaic park in Cabaiguán

Brigades from several Cuban provinces are finalizing details to ensure the synchronization and commissioning of the photovoltaic solar park located in the municipality of Cabaiguán, Sancti Spíritus, soon, contributing an additional 21.8 MW to the national electricity system, especially during the midday peak.

According to Osmany García Hernández, one of the investors in the aforementioned project, the project’s execution represents a significant step in promoting renewable energy sources in the nation, while also helping to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

Extensive work has been done with several brigades from Cienfuegos and Sancti Spíritus, and we have had many brigades from other provinces, Camagüey, Pinar del Río, and Copextel.

We have installed 42,588 panels.
